Welcome to the Society, Pup.
Whether you’re new to the community or have been part of it for years, Society of Pups is a place to meet friends, discover local events, and become part of something bigger. Together, we’re creating a connected network of packs across the UK and beyond.
Be aware, we are still in our beta launch meaning you may find a few pesky bugs, but don’t worry, we will be going fully alpha live very soon so they’ll all be gone… we hope. Until then, welcome to the Society.

About the Society of Pups
Play. Connect. Belong.
Society of Pups is a community-driven network bringing together pups and handlers from across the United Kingdom and around the world. Whether you’re new to pup play, an experienced pup, a handler, or simply curious about the community, our goal is to create a welcoming space where friendships can grow and meaningful connections can be made.
At its heart, Society of Pups is about people. We believe that the pup community is strongest when we come together, support one another, and create opportunities to socialise beyond online spaces. From casual meetups and nights out to bowling leagues, board game evenings, pub socials, community gatherings, pride events, and much more, we aim to make it easier than ever for pups to meet, play, and build lasting friendships.
We’re also creating local packs across the country, allowing members to connect with others in their area while remaining part of one larger community. Whether you’re joining the Manchester Pack, Stoke-on-Trent Pack, Birmingham Pack, London Pack, or helping establish a new local group, you’ll be part of a growing network united by friendship, inclusivity, and shared experiences.
Society of Pups is more than a website—it’s a community built by pups, for pups. A place where everyone can find their pack, make new friends, organise events, and help shape the future of the community together.
Wherever you’re from, whatever your experience level, there’s a place for you here.
Welcome to the pack. 🐾
Pup Roles
Within the pup community, some people choose to identify with a particular role or pack dynamic. These roles can help express personality traits, preferences, or how someone interacts within a group. It’s important to remember that these labels are entirely optional—many pups don’t identify with any specific role at all.
Alpha Pups
are often seen as natural leaders within a pack. They may enjoy organising activities, supporting other members, and helping guide the group. Confidence, responsibility, and leadership are common traits associated with Alphas.
Beta Pups
often act as the backbone of a pack. They are typically dependable, social, and adaptable, helping maintain harmony and supporting both leaders and other members. Many Betas enjoy collaboration and building strong friendships within the community.
Omega Pups
are frequently associated with playfulness, enthusiasm, and bringing positive energy to the pack. They may enjoy being the entertainer, encouraging fun and helping create a welcoming atmosphere for everyone.
Lone Pups
preferring independence while still enjoying the wider community, or as Pack Pups, who thrive in group settings and enjoy being part of a close-knit social circle.
There is no “right” role to have, and many people find that they identify with aspects of several roles rather than just one. At Society of Pups, we believe that every pup has something valuable to bring to the community, regardless of title, experience, or role. After all, a strong pack is built on friendship, respect, and inclusion for everyone. 🐾
